Kelley Gorman will be the new reporter for the Pelican Rapids Press replacing Jerry Barney.
He is a native of and graduated from high school in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1999. He attended Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, where he earned a degree in print media communications. He has lived in Fergus Falls since January 2004. While attending Moody he was an editor and writer for the Moody student newspaper.
He was married his junior year to Cassandra Eastvold (a 1996 Hillcrest graduate). The couple had a daughter in September 2003. Upon graduation he moved to Fergus Falls to be near some of his wife's family. He has written for the The Daily Journal for the past twelve months. Kelley starts work here in 56572 next Monday.
