Rub-a-dub-dub.....

Three men in a tub; And who do you think they be? The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker; Turn 'em out, knaves all three!

Apart from John The Meat Man at Larry's there are no butchers in 56572. There are no bakers....and as far as we know no candlestick makers.

56572 hunters transport their deer to neighboring communities for what is now called "processing."

One lucky 56572 hunter who bagged his buck using a Ruger Super Blackhawk, bagged a doe on his way to Ketter's in Frazee using his Suburban.

In how many small towns in Minnesota are kids peeking into the local abattoir this week, eyes as big as saucers? Just not here in Turkey Town 56572.

I find this photo distasteful. Please place it under a link so that those of us who do not wish to view it are not unwillingly subjected to it.

Are you kidding me? Distasteful?? Did you ever go into to turkey plant when they still had the kill line? How do you suppose the hamburger gets to Dairy Queen or the chicken to the Colonel?

Is someone out of touch?

No, I have admittedly not ever gone into the turkey plant, period. Having grown up on a beef farm, I am well aware of the butchering process. This doesn't mean that I enjoy it.
