Dellrae Mashek was found guilty of two counts of arson Friday night for starting a fire at a Pelican Rapids dollar store that she owned.
A 12-person jury handed down the verdict shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday in Otter Tail County District Court.
Sentencing has been set for March 24. Minnesota sentencing guidelines call for presumptive commitment to prison, for a length to be determined by the judge, Assistant Otter Tail County Attorney Michelle Eldien said.
Mashek, 52, Pelican Rapids, was charged with two felony counts of first degree arson for the Jan. 26, 2006, fire that destroyed the Pelican Dollar Store. The rest of the story
