What we had been waiting for happened today. The water is all the way across the Bengtson Curve and MNDOT closed 108 west this morning.

road closed, major flood -- detour in operation, follow the detour signs
Comment: Location: about seven miles east of I-94. Detoured onto Highway 59, Otter Tail County Road 28 and Otter Tail County Road 21.
State Highway 34 is open. The official detour is Center Grove south to South Immanuel, east past Orland's on County Highway 28 to State Highway 59.

Well maybe now that its "officially" closed something will be done about this,and with any luck it wont be by the same bunch of clowns that "took care "of the problem a few years ago.
