I will be on assignment later this week visiting one of my favourite places on the planet. I'll be trying to get the latest on the Royal Divorce and trying to defend the actions of our own Royal Bushies. The latter will be the hardest. I also want to delve into the question of the future of Europe, which in the eyes of some means only one thing: Friday prayers. Tell your friends and stay tuned yourself. To prep yourself for what's to come on 56572 here's your reading list for today (Vikings play on Monday Night Football):

Didn't Crown Prince Frederik just marry a Tasmanian? Isn't his brother's ex from Hong Kong? Shouldn't they have to live in Sweden too?

The Love Bridge

DOUGLAS DAVIS in The Jerusalem Post
The eminent Islam scholar Bernard Lewis recently observed that Europe is likely to be effectively Islamic - an extension of the Middle East and North Africa - by the end of the century. That view has now found an echo at the heart of the European Union itself.

In a speech delivered at Leiden University last week, European Commissioner Fritz Bolkestein described demography as the "mother of politics." America's youth and dynamism, said the former senior Dutch politician, will ensure it remains a superpower. China is a rising economic power. But Europe, he said, is destined to be "Islamized."

The Rapid Islamization of Europe

Mark Steyn is always thought provoking as well. His editorial led me to the words of Bernard Lewis.
