City workers are building the terraces on the Mill Pond Dam embankment higher this afternoon. A comment to a previous post was made this morning to the tune of "Put up (your money) or shut up." A suggestion was made this afternoon that if the left enbankment were covered by vines, like the south embankment, there would be balance, at least three months of the year. Trees are not recommended as they could undermine the integrity of the embankment?
