"Thank You to EVERYONE involved in this Mission. It was an Honor to attend.
Close to 400 miles round trip in a day, I am exhausted!
When I got home, I told my 8 year old Son where I was all day. He asked me why I do it.
I tried to come up with a reason for why I'll leave home on my bike when it's 47 degrees outside, go to a Funeral for someone I don't even know, and stand for hours holding a flag. The best answer I could come up with was " Joshua Hanson is an American Hero who gave his life defending our Freedom. I gave a Saturday to Honor and Celebrate his life. It's a very small sacrifice on my part." I think he understood."

"I was honored to be able to attend yesterday's mission for SSG Hanson. Thank you to the SSG Hanson's family for allowing us to honor him. Thank you also to the people of the town of Pelican Rapids who came out to provide coffee, water, cookies, and doughnuts to us; and for coming out to pay their respects to SSG Hanson.
