Snow showers
dust 108
leaving black tracks
on white.
The neighbor on the hill
leaves his Christmas lights
on all night
leaving tracks
in the pitch black
around his roof.
Another neighbor
I never meet
pulls out in front of me
rounds the Flatin curve
then unexpectedly
signals for a left turn
pulling into a field approach
at the west end of his farm.
Turning on his brights
he points his pickup
across the field
tracking up the hill,
a short commute
to his deer stand.
