56572 is blessed with many creative people who pursue their ideas to fruition. Today I was impressed by Phyllis who spent the day with friends helping her haul the mountains of boxes of used books out of her barn into the splinter new used donated trailer which will serve as the Friends of the Pelican Rapids Public Library Used Book Sale on Wheels. Her husband Dick was also instrumental in seeing this idea become reality. The First Used Book Sale on Wheels will be tomorrow and Friday in the Trinity Lutheran parking lot. The project probably does not make the "Only in 56572" list, but who else out there in cyberspace can say we hijacked their idea?
