A Hitchiker dressed in white

I swear I saw Jack Frost lying the north ditch of the Three Mile Woods this morning. He had this huge grin on his face as he stared east to the rising sun. It looked like he had been run over by a Jennie-O truck. Still this horrible grin. If I had had a gun in the car I would have put him out of his misery. Johnson's sweet corn sign hasn't been up yet! I'll bet he was hanging out over in Ruud's pumpkin patch. Is this what you get when you decide to start school before Labor Day?

Record low temperatures set over eastern North Dakota
At Hector Field in Fargo... the morning low temperature dipped to 34
degrees at 535 am. The old record was 35 degrees set in 1950. The
temperature dropped to 32 degrees at 544 am at the international
Airport in Grand Forks. The old record was 37 degrees set in 1985.
