Velkommen Globals

From sea to shining sea they came to 56572 on Saturday evening. I'm talking about the Global Volunteers. One had an Uff da button on her backpack. Another asked what Uff da meant. They've spent most of today preparing for the coming week. Part of the day was spent at the Lake.Tomorrow they meet their young customers face to face. The nervousness on the face of the Globals last night will be on the faces of the children they will teach tomorrow. By Friday there will be tears all around. The Globals will pack to leave for either shining sea and say to themselves, "Uff da, dat vas fun!" Our kids will think, you know, there are many nice people all across this country, not just here in 56572.
