Alice Cora Nelson, 95, Pelican Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, in Pelican Valley Nursing Home. Miss Nelson was born Jan. 29, 1909, in Pelican Rapids. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1927. In 1931, she graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, with a degree in English and Latin. She taught school for 14 years in Wibaux and Miles City, Montana. In 1945, she moved to Pelican Rapids, where she taught at Pelican Rapids High School. She retired in 1974.
