out of harm's way

I visited the local cafe for breakfast last Saturday morning -only the prices had changed- just to see if the Round Table was alive and well. It was. In fact on Saturdays there is even a bullpen booth next to the coffee pot. When a spot opens up at the table somebody slides out of the bullpen and takes the seat. With the Twins falling to the Yankees - we are good losers in Minnesota - and the second Presidential debate the night before, I had not expected to hear much of the talk being about something more important.................. hunting.
