Johanna and I were in California over the weekend visiting our children. Sunday morning we visited the Reagan Library in Simi Valley near Ingrid's school. At the entrance to the Library are Reagan's words:
"Whatever else history may say about me when I’m gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears; to your confidence rather than your doubts."
Fears and doubts have been front and center in this country during the presidential campaign. The attack commercials are over....at least for this day. I have hope and confidence in the American people to make the right choice today..... for all of us on the planet.
