Lackluster bluster

This last Sunday in Advent 2004 was a bitter cold blustery day around here. The wind blows thirty miles an hour from the south, then twelve hours later turns and blows thirty miles an hour from the north. The temperature this morning was -10 (F). Our Minnesota Vikings are just as unpredictable and bitter as the weather, winning despite themselves by one point. We are wise enough to know what the weather will bring the next weeks. We have less faith in our football team. After the game many guys are checking out the latest ideas in ice fishing houses on local ice fishing house websites: Quality Fish Houses, Trophy Fishhouse or Five Star Fish Houses. Real guys like the one in the above photo are headed out to their (ice fishing) house. Real guys dare drive out to them. Radios are tuned to the Vikings post-game show. Whine on. Dubya was Time Magazine's Man of the Year and a conservative poliblog from Minnesota Blog of the Year. Are we sad we that we didn't make the best blog Top Ten? Nope. Gotta get to work on 56572 the year in review from 'round here.
