my son goes to a Timberwolves game in the Staples Center

DECEMBER 4. 2004 - OBSERVATIONS AT AN NBA BASKETBALL GAME IN THE YEAR 2004

Due to recent brawls between players and fans, a disclaimer is now read before the game about throwing things at the millionaires. How in the world is basketball more popular than soccer? It's slow, boring, and uninspired. Oh wait, it's only in America that this is the case. I'll go to a Galaxy game any day over the Clippers. Why do the last two minutes of a quarter take at least a quarter of an hour? When did rap become the music of the masses? I'm surprised we aren't singing the Star Spangled Banner in rap style. Why do people feel the sudden urge to make complete fools of themselves when they are on the JumboTron? Johanna? Even ever steady mom blew kisses to the entire Metrodome when given the chance. When did it become acceptable to charge $8.75 for a glass of beer? How long can a hot dog sit before you shouldn't serve it to a customer? Where did the term nosebleed seats come from? Why don't some fans take showers before going out in public? The Timberwolves beat the Clippers in overtime, that's nice, where do I get my refund?
