Doors of 56572 (1)

Today I am starting a series of photos of "The Doors of 56572." We walk or drive by these doors every day without really noticing. Those of you who have moved away will have your memories jogged, trying to figure out where you've seen that door before.
The Rapids is now advertised for sale in the newspaper. Those who rely on The Rapids for their bacon, egg, coffee and a cigarette (or two or three) breakfast might be worried. Pearl in the Pool Hall serves quality breakfasts and lunches with large portions for a fair price. Cheapest cup of coffee in town. Pearl's burgers, liverwurst and onion sandwiches and homemade pastry are legendary. Seating is limited to one table and a half dozen or so bar stools. Female customers might be stared at for a while. Sandwiched between JP Wallace Bank and State Farm on West Mill, on the ground floor of the Masonic Lodge,
the Pool Hall is a 56572 institution, a true slice of pre-statewide smoking ban small town Americana.

The tooth fairy was in 56572 this weekend. Although she works only at night, I was able to use a low light camera filter with no flash to got this rare shot of her. How much does she usually leave under the pillow these days? Anybody know? And you always thought it was your mother? Does this look like your mother??
