Monday musings

The fact that the Pelican Rapids School Board can cut $400,000 from the budget and lay off almost a dozen teachers on a Wednesday afternoon and here it is Monday and no mention as been made of it in the area media tells me three things: 1) nobody outside 56572 is reading this blog; 2) nobody outside 56572 pays any attention to 56572; 3) nobody outside 56572 really cares what happens here. With a bonding vote just over the horizon, we should probably just enjoy the peace and quiet before real March Madness hits.
