my Ex-Boss leaves town

One cannot let today pass without noting that Keith and Barb Klein left 56572 today after having lived here since 1978. Time has proven very wise the decision of School Board members Jerry Neff, Lyle Haugrud, Dianne Kimm, Bob Lindstrom, Don Lende and Malcolm Lee to hire Keith as Superintendent to replace Chauncey Martin. Keith was a steady hand on the rudder, just what this community, which seems to prefer the status quo, likes. For sure he had opportunities to move on to bigger and better jobs, but he chose to stay. As my boss for all those years I found him to be a boss I could respect. He was easy to work with. He and Barb were not to be missed at any school function. They assumed leadership roles throughout town. People come and people go. The Kleins were great community citizens. Their contributions are to be recognized. 56572 will miss them. Time will tell, mark my words.
