Neighborhood crime watch

Stolen car found on fire
A Fergus Falls police officer driving on the corner of Friberg and Springen reported seeing an abandoned car on fire Thursday night. The fire department was called and found that the radiator overheated. After an investigation, it was learned that the car was stolen from Pelican Rapids. Police are investigating, but do not have suspects.

Satellite radio stolen
A woman called police early Wednesday morning to report that her personal satellite radio had been stolen from her company car, which was parked on the 800 block of Industrial Park Boulevard.

iPod stolen
Police are investigating the theft on an Apple iPod, an MP3 music player, stolen from the parking lot of Perkins sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Police do not have a suspect.

Stereo system stolen from church
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's department is investigating the theft of a stereo and public address system valued at around $3,500 reported stolen from Grove Lake Lutheran Church in rural Pelican Rapids.
