Practice Whirled Peas

Those of us who know (and love) Phil, The Hamburger Artist (studio portrait to the left) out at Maple Beach, know he has an excess of creativity. Sometimes his creativity finds practical application, as in the case of Bibi, The Bikini Mannequin, who reminds motorists speeding obliviously by to slow down to the posted thirty and enjoy the view. Bibi must have been a naughty girl and broke curfew a few times. She seems stranded in either the fish cleaning house or the gas shed this summer and has been replaced by a huge green plywood fish, whose name I have not yet dared ask. On this monster Phil posts his thought of the week, cooked up from just above the grill and just under the vent at Maple Beach. This could be what listening to Moldie Oldies on 106.9 all summer does to your brain, I'm not sure. Phil's first attempt at publishing his thoughts was "Practice whirled peas." Sure enough, some Nodakers came in to ask if had any peas left for sale. This week is: Practice Safe Eating; Condiments. Stay tuned.
