Fowling up the highway (Another East of Erhard Story)

One morning last week a 56572 school bus driver had a close encounter East of Erhard South of Four Corners with a flock of these creatures who were standing in the driving lane of a county highway mourning the passing of one of their own. They refused to move. The driver edged slowly forward until the message was clear and they got out of the way. That afternoon a different driver encountered the same creatures at the same location displaying the same behavior. From the back of the bus came the words "Be careful, the bus ran over two of them this morning." For the record and to keep the peace with our East of Erhard neighbors, neither bus hit any of your guinea fowl.
