Philsosophy for Weeks 37/38 2005 A.D.

As further proof that one can read things on 56572 that would never make the pages of The Press, 56572 is pleased to offer Phil's Philosophy as a regular feature to our readers:

Phil's Philosophy for Week 38
Forbidden Fruits create many jams.

Phil's Philosophy for Week 37
Where there is a will......I want to be in it.

(Phil the Philosopher lives five or so miles east of 56572 on State Hwy 108. He is a neighbor to Bibi and Bob, who you met here on 56572 over the Labor Day weekend. For those motorists driving 30 mph or less these days, Bibi and Bob can be seen getting very cozy in the fish cleaning house kitty corner from Philosopher Phil's house. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day Philosopher Phil is too busy to philosophize. Between Labor Day and Memorial Day is a different story. Phil the Philosopher's Philosophy is posted on a white dry erase board leaning up against the hedge in front of his house. It is only visible to west bound traffic. If you are eastbound and you come to a stack of green five gallon plastic pickle buckets on your right side, you have gone too far and can turn around. Locals trying to figure out who Philosopher Phil really is should not confuse Philosopher Phil with Fast Phil - aka "Doc" - who lives down the road a piece but frequently drives past Philosopher Phil's in either his spiffy new Japanese right hand drive ultra-mini light blue pickup with the two ultra-mini US flags on the roof and the "I Love America" sticker on the tailgate - or is it the bumper - that he recently bought at OK Tire, or his Harley Davidson.)
