New day dawning in 56572?

This afternoon 27 North Broadway (Lodin's "Just right!" Five and Dime Ben Franklin) was sold at auction to John and Valerie Ohman. The Ohman's have a cabin on the West Coast of Lida and find 56572 charming, full of potential and putting their money where their mouth is, ripe for investment. John said they have no immediate plans for the building, but would like to have input from residents what we would like to see done with the building. John gave 56572 permission to start the contest, so fire away over to the left by clicking the comment button. John's first suggestion was a brew pub. Welcome to Between the Stoplights 56572 Valerie and John. Thanks for having the confidence to invest in 56572. We look forward to your ideas, your energy and the door to 27 North Broadway being re-opened. My suggestions: A cheese shop, a bakery, an art gallery, a movie house, a youth center, a Third World Store, a Mexican restaurant, anything but a gift store, coffee shop, bank, or Dollar Store.

56572 Mayor Runningen congratulated new 27 North Broadway owner John Ohman after the purchase. In Historic City Hall the Mayor points out how the building façade used to be.
