As much as I hate advertising directed at me, I have always dreamed of getting into the advertising business. I would have been proud to have created this ad. The ad seems directly targeted to those of us in the Upper Midwest, especially Lake Wobegon Lutherans, who suffer with guilt.
The ad could be used for so many things:
Quitting smoking
Exercising
Watching our diet
Watching less televsion
Reading more books
Voting in elections
Voting yes in a school bond issue
Volunteering to serve in leadership positions
Being better citizens
Getting to know our neighbors and caring for them
Calling our parents regularly
Telling our spouses, kids, family and friends we love them
Acknowledging the many good things people do
Being and showing thankfulness
Reading this blog daily
