Monday morning. Vikes lost. Little to talk about. Get your house out this weekend? Yup. Catch any? Yup. The volume is turned down to a whisper. You're kidding? Nope.
No matter the bribe, I could not disclose the location of this miracle lake where fishing the past week has been "like fishing used to be, only better." What I can tell you is that you can't get there from here. There is no public access to it. You gotta know somebody or know somebody who knows that somebody. It is the ultimate up-and-comer lake. Five pound walleyes, one after the other.
I know the lake, I know how to get there and I know somebody. I don't fish, but I know. Almost as important as fishing itself.
