The media this morning reports that there are many empty judge chairs in the local courts. I'd better check with Mr. Femling or Ms. Andrews to find out just how many 56572 attornies became judges. Was Henry Polkinghorn a judge? Chuck, now that your grooming of your replacement is almost complete, would you reconsider?

Henry Polkinghorn was appointed Judge of Probate and Juvenile Court for Ottertail County June 1968. He wa appointed by Gov. Harold LeVander.
In the early 70's the Minnesota Court system was reorganized. All judges are now Minnesota District Court Judges.
Henry retired in 1978 and lived at Pelican Lake and Venice, Florida. He passed away in May, 2004. His wife, Merle, resides in Venice and is 92 years young.
