Dear Mayor Wayne,
How long will the City tolerate a burned building to remain untouched after a fire? Is there an answer for this in City Statute or Ordinance?

Regarding your question about ordinances, it is really up to the owner and the insurance company to decide if they want any money to go towards the remodeling. If it is settled and just sits, there is little we can do but cite the owner under the public nuisance policy.
