56572 heard this week that Sotra was burning. We immediately dispatched a photographer. While noticing all the Russian smoke over the Norwegian Sea he also noticed the fire on Sotra. 56572 has regular readers who have a house on Sotra. Their house was threatened, but spared. The Sotra fire is the small plume stretched out towards the west just above the center of the photo. Click on the photo to enlarge and see the red spot where the fire is burning.
