We missed Poker Alice's writing in today's Pelican Rapids Press (not online yet). The street says she was seen coming out of Wells Fargo headed to the accountant's office.
The Press does a full page spread on PRHS Scholarship Winners. I was certain that the $76,000 behind Alice's name was a typo. Cornered at the coffee shop this noon, Alice said the correct amount was $98,000.
A National Merit Scholar from 56572 (sorry Alice) 56534 is another example of what is right with 56534 (and 56572) and PRHS.
Bravo Alice. Stay away from the tables at Shooting Star. If you do go, do not wear the VVV tshirt, nor the one with the Hebrew you don't know what it means on the front, for your own safety. How can a NMS not know what it means?
