Rebecca and Gordon are retired professors who live on a local lake. Neither grew up in Otter Tail County, but are now four season residents. Until this morning, neither had been in Las Monarcas. Both have vacationed in Mexico. Rebecca speaks Spanish. Mornings are spent reading the Star Tribune watching the river flow in local coffee shop. Should you see them there or holding hands walking down the sidewalk, greet them by name. Our idea of what retirement must be like.
