Be on time. Don't cheat.
All are life lessons most would agree Minnesota kids need to learn. At home. At church. This year, the Legislature decided Minnesota schools needed to do their part in helping students become better citizens. The state will spend $1.5 million to help finance "character education" programs. Some question whether such an expenditure of time and money is necessary. Others feel it's only logical that schools play a part in character education.
