KARE-11 Video of 56572 Tribute to Josh

(submitted)
"I was honored to be one of the many people down town in Pelican Rapids last night to welcome Josh home.

I think it would be great if, we as a community, would flood KRCQ with e-mails thanking them for the wonderful play by play coverage they provided us with. They did an outstanding job.
Let's show them how much we appreciated them."

Thank you
Jean Satter

(submitted) Memorial for Josh:
The Friends of Maplewood State Park are planning to have a Picnic Shelter put up at Maplewood State Park and dedicate it to the memory of Josh Hanson, son of Bob and Kathy Hanson, who was killed in Iraq. A picnic shelter is a costly item. Money raised by the Friends group during their fund raisers will go towards the Picnic Shelter. If you would like to make a donation to the picnic shelter, please send it to Friends of Maplewood, Box 259, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572. Checks should be made out to Parks and Trails and write Friends of Maplewood in the memo space. Any local Service Groups that would like to make a donation can contact John Nordstrom at 218-334-6567. Thank you.
