Re-marinated seafood

I discovered this October cartoon of Trygve Olson in his cartoon archive and, as a Dane with a Norwegian svoger, I could not pass it up. Your last chance locally to eat lutefish is at the annual Rotary Club Christmas Luncheon. It's by invitation only. You'll need to let a Rotarian know you're interested very soon so they'll know how much to marinate. The majority of the Rotary Club does not eat the stuff, opting instead for the cheaper meatball, but it's tradition. The argument about parting with tradition, usually around Thanksgiving, is alway a losing proposition, but it is one thing Retired Rotarians miss.
