A local retired Norwegian just got around to bringing his Norway bound Christmas cards to the 56572 Post Office today. When asked where he wanted the card sent to the Norwegian got really quiet, almost as though he did not understand the question or was counting to ten in Norwegian. When asked again, he answered, somewhat increduously, "Vel to Norvay, of course." "Fine, we can do that, but you'll have to address the card as such." "Vel it already says Norvay, right there after the name of the town!" "N-O-R-G-E, what is that supposed to mean? In English please, printed with capital letters." By then I had already taken care of that for the gentleman.
