Responses to the Room with a view posting have been surprising. For those of you lost, it's The Third Floor (second floor actually) above Riverside Place. Check in the cupboard above the Norge in the kitchen for another surprise. Don't leave without buying something. Anna's Swedish pepparkakor in the Carl Larsson collectible tin are nice. There are free samples of those across the bridge on the West Bank at Riverside Coffee. Lars makes good gingersnaps too, as I mentioned already last summer. Don't forget the lingonberries. Marlys has three kinds: Hafi, Midnight Sun and Felix. Take Hafi's. Riverside Coffee will close after New Year's for a while, stock up on Tabi's coffee beans - I recommend the Panama - and be sure not to leave there without a small bag of the chocolate covered espresso beans for your parka pocket. Shirley made whipped cream filled krumkake with lingonberries for good customers at Riverside today. Ask her for the recipe. The El Bandito sandwiches with chicken breast and pesto were top shelf today too. All that right here, between the stoplights in 56572.

I sure wish that Marlys would advertise "The third floor" a bit more.. it is an awesome place.
Riverside really is closing after the 1st??? Say it isn't so! Do we know for how long? How can we get her to change her mind? Everyone that thinks Tabi should give staying open a try... Blog about it:)
