"The City didn't buy it......but now will lease it."
Five years ago today The Pelican Press led with an article that began with those words. The City Council, forced with ADA issues in Historic City Hall, signed a five year lease with Lake Region Electrical Cooperative for just over $27,000 per year and City Hall moved. The lease is up on May 1st. Five years on the question is the same, buy or rent?
