Stepping up to serve

News this week is that two 56572 residents, already in leadership positions, have agreed to assume additional duties.

Glenn Moerke, PRHS Principal, has agreed to serve as a Director on the Otter Tail County United Way Board of Directors. The current United Way campaign is at 82% of their goal. If you forgot to give you can do so quickly and easily online here.

Joyce Valley, currently Clerk of Lida Township, will face Edwin S. Carlson, currently Chairman of Elizabeth Township who lives on Jewett Lake and owns Eddie's Insulation & Siding Service, in the June election for the District 6 Chair on the Lake Region Electrical Cooperative Board of Directors.
