Pelican Rapids Press publisher Jeff Meyer is considering taking The Press online. 56572 welcomes this news. 56572 already subscribes to full text versions of the Fargo Forum and the Star Tribune. This in addition to reading their websites. The Forum charges $4.95 a month. The Star Tribune uses Newsstand and charges $10.50 a month. The Fergus Daily Journal charges $6.49 a month. To help Jeff in his endeavor, 56572 asks how much would you be willing to pay for an online full text version of the Press? If you subscribed to the online version, would you drop your hardcopy subscription? We hope that Jeff will offer both a web page with advertising and a full text .pdf version for subscription. Encourage him.

Yes I would like to see the P Press go online, becouse it is a weekly maybe $3.00 per month would we far. I would keep my hardcopy subscription.
$3.00 would be fair. I would imagine that the paper is on the computer before it goes to print, so there should be no additional work involved, plus it would save on the trees and postage.
I do not get a hard copy now, but have been waiting for the on-line version for some time.
