Dick Gilbert thanks Paul Evenson for volunteering his time and truck to move the Friends of the Library Used Bookmobile from its winter home on the Gilbert Farm in Lida Township to its summer home in the parking lot of Trinity Lutheran Church just next to Sherin Park.
The Friends Bookmobile will be open on Tuesdays beginning June 5th from 900am until noon. The Friends will be selling used books - members enjoy a discount - and accepting donations of used books - with the exception of encyclopedia sets, text books, or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books.
On Saturday June 23rd during the International Friendship Festival it will be open from noon to 400 pm. On Turkey Festival and Art in the Park Saturdays from 900am-400pm.
It's summertime and the livin' is easy....even easier with a good book.
