Like many things new in 56572 Chauncey Martin Field also came under fire as soon as the thought of it hit the street. Thirty years later, now surrounded by softball and baseball fields, tennis courts and a track, the investment makes a lot of sense.
Mac and Chauncey are both gone now. Their vision lives on.
Think about that during the Homecoming game.

I cannot remember any controvery or opposition to Chauncy Martin Field. If there was, it had nothing to do with Mr. Martin. He and Milly were the greatest. Please don't use such a broad brush when discussing changes in 56572. Some new things are progress and some are just dumb.
