Think about it a minute. You've got sixty seconds to give me the names of the three Otter Tail County residents you would choose to portray Otter Tail County to the world.
For me the answers are easy: Charles Beck, Lula Brown and Roland Jordahl. Beck was the easy answer. Only when I saw this photo of Charlie working out of the front seat of his pick up truck did the image of Lula working out of the front seat of her Buick flash across my screen. Jordy's white Chevy van flashed by next going across Stony Bar on the way out to Maplewood.
Deb Wallwork and Media Mike Hazard's eight minute video of Charles Beck had a national premiere on The Independent Lens on PBS last night, today a world online premiere on The Independent Lens website.
Do you have ten minutes to watch it? Will you use the link on the site to tell others to watch it? Will you feel homesick for Otter Tail County? Will you feel pride? Will you feel gratitude to Deb and Mike for making this movie?
PS to Deb and Mike: Lula and Jordy are waiting for you both. Hurry.
