Slowdown on North Broadway

Instead of checking out who's coming and going at the new 56572 Liquor Store Good Sam residents will have to look at a vacant lot for a few months more. There is news this week about a delay in construction of the new Municipal Liquor Store on the corner of Broadway and 1st Ave NW. The delay will be for cleanup of what might prove to be contaminated soil under the old Standard/Amoco station. The MPCA has started a file so Good Sam residents can follow progress on the Former Bill's Amoco webpage. Sorry, no RSS on that page, just keep checking back.
