Seriously, the most encouraging thing happening in 56572 this morning is that a solution is being sought for the residents of 5th Ave SE who are up all night during thunderstorms trying to protect their properties from the rising water in their backyards. Diverting runoff from the Chauncey Martin Field parking lot seems to be the plan. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
