Blogging alternatives

I was asked today if I would consider teaching a Community Ed class in Blogging 101. A blog like this is not for everybody, some days not even for me. Sometimes a site at myspace.com or a discussion group would be more appropriate. Today I started a Google Group called 56572. People seem reluctant to comment on this blog. Perhaps you'll feel more comfortable over at the 56572 Group. It is not open to the general public yet and what we write to one another will not be searchable on Google, or so they say. Email me if you are interested in joining.I did this several years ago on Yahoo, but it never went anywhere and I never learn my lesson so I started a blog instead.

Today I also linked 56572 to my Google Picasa Web Album site. Look for it to the right under Street talk. This is more appropriate for families and friends who want to share their photos online, at no charge of course. Take any photo you want, print it at home or take it to Pelican Drug and use Don Perrin's Kodak digital photo printer. It works well and is easy. I suppose I could put my Pastoral Pelican Rapids series on there too. We haven't had many decent photos on this page lately, have we? Not since the Danish hot dogs.
