Taking down the fences

56572 is not an easy place to do business. Perhaps it's because of our demographics. People don't eat the same things. We have three grocery stores, each catering to their particular clientele. Roughly a third of us don't speak English at the dinner table. Some us have just don't like bars, never have, never will. It's a short drive to somewhere else to eat and to drink.

The best businessmen know when it's time to throw in the towel. Yet, it's a blow to put the closed for business sign on the front door. Been there, done that. Put yourself in the business owner's shoes. Not unexpectedly, Bridges Bistro and Bar has a Closed for Business sign in the front door this morning. It's a sad day for 56572. Sad for those out of work. What next for Rex Crews' corner? We're all scratching our heads on that one. Got any ideas?

(How long will it be before 56572 puts the same sign in the window? This blog I mean. What did you think?)
