Some of us find joy in small town life. When the sea of life turns rough, everybody knows we are seasick. They know why and they suffer with us. When sailing is good, others see it too. New car, huh? Most clap for us. Others pray, often successfully, for a gale. Some of us love going to West Acres just to be nobody, until we see somebody from 56572 and the obligatory greeting rule comes into effect. We return to 56572 and are somebody again. People recognize our car, more obligatory waves. To think of you lonely people who live in the city, wanting to wave, waiting for a smile, dying to hear the sound of your own name.
Some of you are starting to comment on 56572 blog postings, the majority of you under the veil of anonymity. We could push a button and do away with this veil. Things would get quiet. We've done that - for a few hours - when particularly nasty comments arrive. Enjoy the anonymity. We do sometimes ourselves. It's more fun for the rest of us as we try to figure out if it was really you....why you wrote what you wrote....and what we can do to help you. We are now a small community of about three hundred readers a day from around the world. Somebody out there should be able to help.
Newcomers to blogging are reminded that if you click on the comments link just below, you can read approved comments. You can also post a comment. Vent, veil and click publish. Are we having fun yet?
Speaking of veils...what's the difference between a hijab and a jilbab?

Walking, running, and jumping on all fours will give you a workout, but not
necessarily a superior one.

I look forward to checking this blog every day...it warms my heart how this community is reaching out to others, how it surrounds those who are grieving, how it rejoices with those who are celebrating.
