Last week the School Board considered the applications of seven applicants to fill the chair of Don Beck. They appointed Peter Sasso-Lundin. Peter lives on the east side of ISD548 and has a son who is a Senior. He brings twenty-three years of special education experience to the table. Peter is currently employed by the Detroit Lakes School Distrcit where he has worked in the Area Learning Center since 2001.
Peter is an excellent choice for School Board. The expertise he brings will enrich the District. The six candidates not selected should be commended for their willingness to serve.
