A 56572 barber reports that he was invited to the Otter Tail County Jail to give inmates haircuts. He was told he could not bring any tools, but would have to use those inside the jail. When asked what kind of scissors they had, the answer was, "they're all plastic."

A new addition to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Web site will be of interest to those on both sides of the law, say planners.The site, which was launched Friday, posts the photograph and name of those in custody in the Otter Tail County jail. It also lists the names and charges (but no photograph) of those with outstanding warrants in the county. To report the location of someone on the warrants list, e-mail warrants@co.otter-tail.mn.us. E-mail, rather than calling to report individuals, unless the warrant is a felony, Sheriff Schlueter said. All information provided is confidential.
