No traction troubles tonight

The 12th Annual Friday after Thanksgiving Horse Parade is tonight at 630 pm. 56572's larger and richer neighbor to the east has been advertising 56573's Horse Parade on television all week. It will certainly be bigger than 56572's although bigger is no guarantee of better.

Jeff Johnson, who started this parade locally in 1995 with seven units, no longer lives in 56572. Still the parade continues. To these kids, waving to those on the wagons last year, waiting for candy, Santa and his horse, it's still great, memorable fun. Thanks to the 56572 Horse Lovers who organize and participate in it. It's almost getting to be a tradition.
